FOX 13′s Ken Suarez and Jamie Cook just left after doing some pieces for a story on a grief counseling class that we are holding this month.
Grief is hard! I’ve lost loved ones before, and there’s nothing quite like that emptiness. When I was little, we had a pair of cocker spaniels. When the girl passed away, I remember sitting in front of the window in the dining room and crying because I missed her.
This class will help those who have lost a pet deal with the grief that they face. Dr. Jeanne Raschke has asked those attending the class to bring pictures and maybe even have something ready to share.
It’s a great opportunity to learn “how to deal” and best of all it’s free.
