I will be the first to say (as a slap my own wrist) that our blog has been in dire need of some writers! I know that you are out there…you volunteer, you donate, you peruse our web site…write for us!
We want to hear from our foster parents, our loyal fans and anyone else that just absolutely loves what the SPCA is doing. And, we need your help.
Today, I am at a conference in Chicago, learning about non-profit marketing in today’s society. It’s incredible!
We have over 200 animals inside the walls of the SPCA and you can help us get the word out about them.
Our full-service medical center serves EVERYONE. You can help us get the word out about that.
And you don’t have to imagine any of these really…they are all ACTUALLY there. Visit us at 5850 Brannen Road South in Lakeland to find out more. Come see me and I’ll put you to work. LOL We need your help.

As an SPCA volunteer, past adoptive parent and passionate SPCA fan, you have my vow to spread the word! I’ve been posting SPCA pets on my own blog for quite some time, now. I’m going RIGHT NOW to post an entry on my blog to refer my followers to the SPCA blog. I already follow you on Twitter and Facebook, now the fever needs to spread through Lakeland, all through Polk County, and into the entire state – and heck – why not the US and beyond! I may be only one person, but it has to start somewhere, right? Hang in there and it’ll all come together.
